The Ancient Greeks believed no individual could find truth working alone – that it is only through thinking together that we find real understanding. This idea calls on us to do the work of actively participating, together, in the exploration we embark on at this convening.
This opening workshop is intended to offer and generate tools that could help us show up as our best, actively-engaging selves over the next three days. A part of that is exploring how to show up with others (facilitators, peers) in ways that really generate more understanding for everyone; the harder part will be exploring where your ideas and knowledge come from, or, in other words, how you show up in the systems you’re exploring and striving to change.
