Engineers well versed in ethical design want to find more ways to include environmental and social benefits in their work; however, their ideas are often lost in financial evaluation methods used in project procurement. What do individuals and organizations that successfully implement social impact best practices have in common? This session will be a case study based workshop focusing on infrastructure and resource extraction. You will leave with the tools to identify and overcome barriers to building thriving communities.
